Switch & Outlet Issues

A switch that no longer works, an intermittent outlet or a damaged device can have more than one cause. Describe the symptoms and when they began. Request an estimate for diagnosis and any repair or replacement within the confirmed service scope. Share photos only where safe. Do not open electrical equipment or remove covers to prepare a request.

Confirm the appropriate next step

Residential electrical licensure is pending. Any work requiring that authorization must be reviewed before acceptance. The appropriate next step may be a permitted project review or assessment by a properly authorized electrical professional.

Review charges before scheduling

Where applicable, a $150 service visit includes travel and up to the first hour of service. Smaller work may be completed during that visit when appropriate. Larger projects or work beyond the included scope can be quoted separately. Service visits and project work are individually quoted. Applicable charges and payment terms are explained before scheduling.

What if there are warning signs?

Stop using equipment that appears unsafe. Burning smells, unusual heat, buzzing, sparks, shocks or recurring breaker trips need qualified assessment. Smoke or fire is an emergency; move to safety and contact emergency services.

Can you diagnose it from photos?

Photos and a description can help identify questions, but they do not prove the cause or replace an appropriate assessment. Do not repeatedly reset a breaker or continue using equipment with warning signs.
