These Terms and Conditions govern the services provided by Neubaum Electric LLC and the use of the Neubaum Electric website. By scheduling service, approving an estimate, signing an invoice, or using this website, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
Services
Neubaum Electric LLC provides individually quoted home service projects. The scope of each project is confirmed in the approved estimate. Residential electrical licensure is pending; work is subject to applicable authorization and project requirements.
Services are performed based on the information provided at the time of booking and the conditions observed on site.
Actual job conditions may differ from those described during scheduling. If additional issues are discovered during the service visit, the scope of work and final pricing may change with customer approval.
Work Authorization And Estimate Approval
Work will not begin until the customer has approved the estimate and provided a signature acknowledging the agreed pricing and scope of work.
Approval of an estimate confirms the customer agrees to the listed services, pricing, travel charges, and applicable labor terms. A final signature may be required prior to the start of work to authorize service.
By signing an estimate, invoice, or work authorization form, the customer confirms they have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
Estimates And Pricing
Estimates are based on the information provided at the time of booking and standard installation conditions. Final scope may change if hidden issues, damaged wiring, improper prior work, or non standard conditions are discovered during the service visit.
Approval of an estimate confirms agreement with the listed scope of work, pricing, travel charges, and applicable labor rates.
If additional work outside the approved estimate is required, the customer will be informed and approval will be obtained before proceeding.
Service visits and project pricing
Service visits and project work are individually quoted. For new quotes and new work invoices, the minimum service visit is $150: $100 for service covering up to the first hour plus $50 travel. Each new quote states the included work, exclusions, and a realistic labor allowance. If more time is needed, we will explain why and obtain your approval before continuing at $100 per hour. We do not charge extra to correct our own workmanship or for time beyond the allowance without your approval. Previously agreed quotes remain unchanged. The $100 evaluation charge is credited toward the approved project; the $50 travel fee is not credited. Quoted service prices include card processing costs, with no separate processing fee added. Applicable visit charges, travel and payment terms are explained before scheduling.
The approved estimate defines the scope of work and any applicable visit charges. Changes to the work or pricing are explained for approval before proceeding.
Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Accepted payment methods may include cash, card, or approved digital payment options. Failure to provide payment may result in collection efforts.
Payment does not prevent you from reporting a workmanship concern.
Scheduling And Access
Customers must provide safe and reasonable access to the work area.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before a confirmed appointment are subject to a $50 cancellation fee, disclosed before booking. We may waive this fee at our discretion, including for emergencies. Any no-show or denied-access charge will be stated in the booking confirmation before you approve the appointment. Existing booking agreements remain unchanged.
Materials and Deposits
Before ordering special-order or nonreturnable materials, we will disclose the cost, return restrictions, and required deposit for your approval. The deposit is credited toward your invoice. If you cancel, we deduct only documented, unrecoverable costs of materials ordered with your approval, including any disclosed restocking or return-shipping charges. Any recovered amounts reduce what you owe, and the remaining deposit is refunded. Paid-for, nonreturnable materials will be made available to you. Applicable cancellation and refund rights remain unchanged.
Customer Supplied Materials
Neubaum Electric LLC is not responsible for the performance, compatibility, or defects of materials supplied by the customer. Customer-supplied product defects and incompatibility are separate from concerns about our installation workmanship. Any additional work needed because of a product issue requires an approved price before we proceed.
Limitations Of Liability
Our approved work does not include correcting unrelated pre-existing defects or concealed conditions unless listed in the estimate. We will explain newly discovered conditions and obtain approval before additional work. This does not exclude responsibility for damage caused by our work.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, liability for any claim related to services provided will be limited to the amount paid for the specific service performed.
Right To Refuse Service
Neubaum Electric LLC reserves the right to refuse service if job conditions are unsafe, illegal, or outside the scope of residential service work.
